Welcome to a New Year of Dance, Growth, and Community

We are thrilled to welcome our new and returning families to Season 17 at New Beginnings Center for the Performing Arts. Our New Rochelle studio officially opened for the season on September 15, and the energy in the building is already inspiring. Whether your child is taking their first plié or returning to perfect their pointe, we're honored to be a part of their journey in dance and self-expression.


Dancing Into the Community

This year, we’ve already stepped into the community in meaningful ways. On August 23, we hosted our Dancing in the Park event at Ruby Dee Park, where families gathered for free dance workshops, live performances, and an afternoon filled with rhythm and joy.

Just a few weeks later, we brought our studio spirit to the New Rochelle Street Fair on September 13, where our students showcased their talent and passion for the arts. A special thank you to the families who showed up in New Beginnings gear and purple pride to support our dancers.


Upcoming Community Events: New Rochelle Council on the Arts Festival & Thanksgiving Parade

We are excited to announce that New Beginnings will perform at the New Rochelle Council on the Arts Festival on Saturday, October 19 at New Rochelle High School.


New Beginnings will also be performing in the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade on Saturday, November 22. Expect to see our students dancing with energy and pride as we continue to represent the power of performing arts in our city. We hope to see you there in support.

Fall Fundraisers and How to Give

This season, we’re launching two important fundraisers to support student programming and our annual production:

  1. Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser – Parents are currently voting on the date (October 5 or October 18).

  2. NBPAC Pop-Up Shop – Families and supporters can purchase official New Beginnings gear to show their pride and help raise funds.


If you would like to support but don’t want merchandise, in-kind donations are also welcome. Your support helps us continue offering high-quality classes, performance opportunities, and scholarships to our talented students. Click here to support today


Registration Is Open Until November 15

There’s still time to join our program this season. Whether your child is brand new to dance or looking to refine their technique, registration is open until November 15.
