The Junior Division Program at New Beginnings Center for the Performing Arts is an elite, dynamic training ground designed for dedicated young dancers who are committed to elevating their technical skill and artistic expression. This program offers an immersive and challenging curriculum, with a strong emphasis on Classical Ballet and Modern Dance, ensuring that students build a solid foundation in these core techniques while nurturing their artistic voice.

In addition to ballet and modern dance, students engage in a broad range of other dance forms that foster versatility and creativity. Technique studies include African dance, Dunham, Theater Dance, Conditioning, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Afro-Caribbean. This diverse approach enables students to explore multiple movement styles and understand the cultural richness behind each technique, preparing them for a well-rounded dance education.

The Junior Division Program is crafted for young dancers who demonstrate discipline, passion, and the desire to excel. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students receive personalized instruction and mentorship, pushing their physical boundaries and refining their artistry. They also participate in performance opportunities, which allow them to showcase their growth in both intimate settings and larger stages.

At New Beginnings Center for the Performing Arts, the Junior Division Program goes beyond technique; it nurtures confidence, discipline, and a deep love for the art of dance, empowering students to develop into well-rounded and professional-level dancers.

Pre-Professional Program

Scholarships are available for students aged 10 to 17, offering a unique opportunity for aspiring dancers to enhance their skills and pursue their passion. Performance opportunities include showcases at the New Beginnings Performing Arts and our annual June Production.

Entry into the Pre-Professional Program is by audition or selected-based, with students placed into levels based on their proficiency in ballet and modern techniques, among other criteria. Students are required to participate in all classes assigned to their level, ensuring a comprehensive and immersive learning experience.

Fees

A $55 Annual Registration Fee is required for all students upon enrollment.

A $25 fee is added if you choose the bi-annual payment plan

A $50 fee is added if you choose the quarterly payment plan. 

You can save 10% when you pay tuition in full upon enrollment.
